My freshman year sketchbook

I was 18, freshly enrolled at MTSU, and my drawings-a-day were pulling a staggering 61 views on my WordPress blog. Not to brag, but I was also forklift certified at Lowe’s, so things were looking pretty exceptional.

The plan was to keep it up all four years — one drawing a day, every day — but sleep deprivation, heartbreak, and the so-called “college experience” had other plans. Thirteen years later, I figured that was enough time to let the cringe air out before uploading it all again. circa 2012
